Ěreas you can climb on are not always obviously marked due to the colour scheme and vibrancy being so similar. The controls for Kena are insufferable. The controls for the rot worm is insufferable. It actually baffles me looking back on it why they don’t have something like this. Even though this could have been solved by having like a rot assist you, it just doesn’t. Hard to know where the objective is or what the game wants you to do.
I’m afraid to report for any fellows with learning disabilities, this game is not friendly to you. Traversing the world/doing quests without objective markers or hints can be depressing for me, it’s always been a struggle in games where there’s no hand holding systems. However, this brings in the major gameplay flaws. The parts of gameplay I did enjoy were to do with how Kena played.
The story is a few hours long, but that’s okay I guess. It’s interesting to go through and learn about this world.
MMm, feet.Īnother part that is good is the story. Nothing notable besides the, I guess you call them CGI parts although it’s not quite? Being honest, it’s nowhere near the quality of a Disney or Pixar movie, but it’s very close and that is quite some feat. There’s only so much you can do in areas like that, and because that’s like, 60% of the game, it feels samey as well. I say ish because the darkness of being in a forest can sometimes be kind of, underwhelming but also dark. Kena Bridge of Spirits, is a good game, but also very fundamentally flawed in ways that I didn’t expect.
